Been reading this board since I got curious about the mini. Then did my research by reading reviews on the car. Went to MINI's website and explored there. Well, went and did it....traded a 2013 Mustang GT premium for a 2014 Cooper S after test driving both the cooper and the s. Searched and searched for a car optioned like I wanted....ended up settling on a black MCS, premium and wired option, anthracite roof, JCW steering wheel, auto tranny and didn't know this was on the car - some funky green scuttles and mirror caps...lol. They are kinda growing on me. If I decide I don't like them....easy enough to paint them black.

Had the car 2 days and love it. Much more refined than the last one I rode in in 1973.

33 mph so far in town.

 

Is that a 33 MPG maybe?

 

They have very low speed limits, apparently...

 

Congratulations. We do some crazy things at times. I traded a '13 FR-S for a '13 MINI. Best thing I ever did (car wise).

 

Ok, computer must be drinking. Filled up today and I figure it is 24 mpg. That is driving city streets and maybe and hour of idling time during breaks at work.

 

24mpg? Must have a very heavy foot!

 

Don't paint buy the oem replacements from the dealer or aftermarket companies in the color or material you like.

 

I picked up my first MCS yesterday after researching and debating for a few months. Traded a Lexus 460 for it. My friend told me I lost my mind. I think I found it. Car is a thrill to drive! She is a 14 and Volcanic Orange.
