Shipping is on the ebay link , we have not shipped any to the USA yet ...
Next week i will be able to answer that question ( a set is heading that way ) but most likely, yes you will have to pay port taxes has they are shipped from europe.

Thanks

Hi there,
It's not the same as we have headlight trims and scoop included on ours, our underbonnet section (Rib) is an exact copy of the OEM so we can assemble the AEM CAI Scoop per example.
I dont know the " vid racing " model that well so if you can post a pic here from the inside part of it (under-bonnet rib), we might be able to see some differences.
All the best

Nice to know someone else is getting in the game on a good hood.
I have a hell of a time trying to post pics but this is the under side of my hood. Its still under construction of being modified but it should give us and idea.

Seibon and VIS make the same looking hood , both seam to have the OEM underside with stock hinge and latch locations

Just noticed that , ours is full 100% carbon fibre underside with reinforced hinge supports... Slightly different ball game i think .
We did something similar to that on a clients R53 , still saved a good amount weight but... its not the same thing i must say .
Keep an eye on the ebay page as new parts are becoming available every week . Including the boot for the R56's... again Full carbon fibre, not just the outer skin or carbon covered ...
All the best

wow, full carbon.... sounds like a very nice hood then. I wish I would have seen yours first..lol being I'm chopping on mine and not sure how the final out come will look this one will work for now. But if I decided to get a new one I will go with yours.
How much does your hood weigh ? Does losing the rear hatch weight change the handling much ? I would buy the front scoops I just don't know what port taxes would be and how long it would take to get them. You need to get a dealer in USA...haha
