Whats up all? Just bought my first Mini 2012 Coupe S with 9,500 on the ticker. I've been a Jeep guy most my life and have built many. So I felt it was time for a change and this little rocket has resparked my love for driving. I know little to nothing about Mini's, so any and all feedback and heads up on issues are welcome.
I am a So Cal driver, so if any group gatherings or meet ups are coming up, a heads up or welcome drive would be great.

Its a super fun car, just like all MINIs!! I got one last saturday. I had a nice officer remind me that I was exceeding the speed limit just a tad yesterday.

 

Yep, my son knows it's fast. I thought I'd be the cool dad and let my 18 year old son give it a spin with me in it. Even with me he had it to 115 mph I would hate to know if I had let him take it.

I'm ---->this close<----- to trading in my '11 MCS for a '14 R58 JCW custom order. Just waiting to hear from my buddy, who is also my MA, when he gets back from Pomona next week for his F56 training to see what the shelf life is for the current R58 model.

I was "loaned" a Coupe S during my last service visit and I was immediately hooked.

Nice looking car and welcome.

I drive a black one, S Coupe. Love it. My wife has the Countryman. That is one thing about Mini, I like all the models. Can't exactly say that about other manufacturers.
