I picked up a used R53. I got it for a steal because shes been a bit neglected. Fresh paint on the hood and a few small fixes and Chloe will be good as new! I've never worked on or played with a MINI so I figured I would find a good forum for questions and other's experiences. I'm excited to get started!

Hi from Denver! My MINI came from Manitou Springs =) can't wait to see some pics!

 

I'll get some pics up as soon as I get started. I'm out of the country while she sits in the garage right now. I can't wait to get started!

LittleBlackBug, good to hear from you. How's the MINI scene around home?

 

Well, I found a great paint guy who removed all the dents (6 total!) and repainted the car. I bought and had him paint my scoop black. I put in the scoop, aero grilles and did an extensive detailing job. She's clean and shiny! I'm more than happy with the progress so far. You can see from the gallery that it looks like a different car! Still so much to do! Let me know what you think so far.
