Ready to buy

I think I am finally ready to close the deal on a 2006 Mini base. A test drive was very good. New rear brakes and replacing the oil pan and gasket has been done. The oil pan was scraped. The struts and motor mounts are fine. The car shifts smoothly and there are no unusual engine noises.

It is in excellent shape cosmetically inside and out. It is British Racing Green and comes with the cold weather package which will be nice here in Maine. It is a one owner vehicle and has 56,000 miles on it. I had it checked out by a mechanic who works on Minis. He said for an '06 it is a very good car. Asking price is $10,900.

I've been looking for a long time and have tried out several Minis and this one seems to be the most solid of the lot. Anything else I should be aware of with an '06? Thanks.

Sounds like you already had it checked out from top to bottom. There are not many issues on Justa's. Good luck and keep us posted.
