Hi All
New member to this forum from NYC, but I've been on this site over 5 dozen times in the past year great info here.
Purchase my first Mini last year a R53 (love the car).
silly question are all mini manufactured over seas
yes.... Oxford, England and the Countryman (and maybe the new Paceman?) in Austria. Rumor that MINI is going to open a factory in China for Asian-bound MINIs.

But no, none produced here in the States.
oh ok. cause I'm still trying to locate the specs via a vin decoder so i can get a manufactures history on the mini. so i can do some engine mods, such as 15% SC pulley and inter cooler
thanks man... It defiantly improved on the ride comfort with fatter tires. but lost some of the performance on the cornering.
more potholes in nyc than winding roads so it was a no brainier.
any recommendations that i should do?
already did a one ball mod, CAI, aero grill, strut brace, rims & tires.
about to do the door screw hole plugs and cover the side marking lights

I'm sure you'll find many opinions regarding mods, just give it a little time. Sounds like you're off to a good start.
