Upgrade question

Hey guys I got a question, I have done a supercharger pulley reduction, exhaust, and lowered my mini. What would be a good upgrade to do next. Not looking to spend a ton of money and I use it as my daily driver also. Any ideas of engine upgrades or cosmetic upgrades.

Id say the short throw shifter. That seems to be a VERY popular mod on this site and one of the first ones i will do.

A cold air intake $250 or a tune $500 would be my choices.

Rear Sway Bar, if you haven't upgraded yet.

With a pulley and exhaust, CAI would be a logical next step also.

This means to reprogram the ECU for better performance based off of the mods you have.

There are only a few people who can do it.

Big rear sway bar, might want to take the front one off if you have one.

Upgraded intake.

Tune would change the performance drastically, you'd be surprised.

Short shifter - this makes the car easier to daily drive and improves shift times when you need it to count.

Wider wheels maybe?

I think the CF scoop and side mirrors look great on certain color MINIs. (And on the turbo model MINIs, the plastic scoop likes to melt over time from the turbo heat and the CF won't melt.)

This is never a good idea IMO unless you are drag racing. When you do this is will feel like you are turning a boat. my understanding is that removing the front sway bar and stiffening up the rear sway bar makes a dangerous oversteer condition.

For autocross and things like that it's good. It all just depends on what you want to do with the car. The oversteer it adds makes fwd easier to work with in my opinion. Buying a MINI was a huge thing for me, I can't stand FWD.

You got mods to go faster and turn faster so now you need to stop faster. Get some better brake pads if you need new brakes soon. Stainless steel brake lines gives you more pedal feel. Rear sway bar, cold air intake... etc. It's endless.

The next thing I would do is narrow your question. What do you like and/or don't like about it as it is? If you love it the way it is, why do anything else? If there is something you don't like or would like to improve, start there.

This is a good idea, but upgrading to the JCW Brembo brakes isn't really needed. The brakes on my 07 S are phenomenal as they are.

I never mentioned JCW brembo brakes, just some upgraded brake pads. Also you 07S Brakes are equivalent to R53 JCW Brakes. The OP just did a reduction pulley so I assume his car is a R53 which can't be compared to 07 S brakes. Even with R53 JCW brakes, the brake feel is different from a R57 S brake.
