hello my name is Jean Yarbrough. I have a 2013 countryman mini. I like it this far but I don't like the ambiant lighting. I have glaucoma and it messes with my eyes. Can't the dealership unplug something or something.

 

Welcome to NAM and congrats on your new MINI. The ambient lighting could be a problem for someone with glaucoma. I might suggest talking with the dealership. I'm not sure whether something can be done to disarm this feature. Some other NAM members might be able to address this with you. In the meantime, you should be able to lower the light level of the ambient lighting to the minimum setting, and then set it to a color that is less bothersome. Don't forget, we like pics.
