Newbie, from Toronto

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. I'm looking to buy a used 09 Cooper S. I have always loved this car, I drove a convertible 2005, non S, and the car handled like it was on rails. Here's the link to the car. I'm really curious to hear what you guys might think. I'm in Toronto, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there anything you guys think I should ask for besides the usual, (carfax, maintenance history, and ownership history) Thanks

Looks really good. Nice color combo. Ask for all records for it and get a the VIN numbers run by the dealer to make sure all recalls and TSB's have been done. I would definitely get a MINI specialist to check it over also IMO. It might be time for a walnut blasting also with the amount of miles on it. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Where would you take the car to get that done? Does a specialty shop do that type of work, or a mini dealer?

I found out last night that I'll have to wait Wednesday to see if the car is still available. I think it's a steal considering the mileage, only 23k for an 09 and the car was just serviced over the weekend

Thanks for the reply guys

The MINI dealership or a MINI/BMW specialists should be able to do it. Prices do vary so shop around. Good luck.
