Howdy from West Texas! New to MINI and NAM

Hello all! Just completed ordering my 2013 MCS that is Spice Orange! I'm in Midland, Texas and excited to become a member of the MINI family. They have always intrigued me since watching "The Italian Job" and now that I'm in a position that I can buy my first car ever in 18 years, I have decided on MINI! I drive about 40+ miles per day on my work commute and need something that gets decent gas mileage and is fun to drive. From my research nothing beats a MINI! Glad to find such a diverse community and I look forward to learning all I can.

Welcome, you will enjoy the car as much as all of us in this forum. For my first MINI, I bought a used one and loved it very much.

Welcome to NAM and congrats on your new MINI. A great deal of useful information to look through here on the forum while you wait.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll be sure to wave at any fellow MINI driver I see. I got mine in San Antonio and have about 6 weeks of wait time. Is that about average y'all have experienced? Naturally I've been reading up a storm and already am planning on the mods I'll be doing to it. And pics will be coming for sure!

It's a minimum of 6 weeks, I ordered a 2013 CM & it took about 9 weeks from order to delivery.

Ill second that. Back in 2012 when my Mom ordered my 2012 Cooper for me, total waiting time was around 9 weeks.

Your dealer should honor the coupon from the day you ordered the car. My MA & manager locked in the $750 discount & 1.9% APR at the time of order. When I went to pick up the car, the current discount was only $500 but since they locked in $750, they honored the lock rate & discount. You should call your MA and talk to them.
