Well it was a bitter sweet decision....We are trading in our Jeep for a Mini Cooper "S" hardtop. My commute to work is around an hour each way and fuel prices at 15 MPG is killing me! Back in the day I have owned MGB's, Triumphs and BMW's so when we were looking the Mini was a natural. The dealer was fantastic and we put together a custom order....so now the wait begins! I look forward to learning and interacting with the folks here.

I also want to say that buying from Patrick Mini has been a pleasure....Maria rocks and we configured her just the way I wanted her....now...what mods do I need to consider?

I did the same thing, sold my 2009 Wrangler and ordered the MINI. I did like driving around with the top and doors off. The fuel consumption was just to much. The Mini makes it all worth it. So much fun and great MPG to boot.

Make sure you take abreast of the whole building and shipping process. Just makes getting your new MINI that much more enjoyable.
