Coming from the motorcycle world on a FJR to a 2013 Countryman. Just picked the car up last night and having a blast with it. So my story is partially me and MeAsWe (my girlfriend) have traveled all over the country on our bike from MA to WA to CA to FL to ME seeing our great National Parks and earning a couple certificates from the Iron Butt Association. On one of those trips we got taken out by a forest rat (read deer) and it broke MeAsWe leg and totaled the FJR and himself/herself. So we completed probably our last big journey on the bike in May and wanting to still travel, I picked up the Countryman, which started out as a quest for a Mini Cooper S Coupe. If you like to read travel related stuff I started a blog about 6 years ago and plan on continuing it with the MINI. You can read it HERE, this was the first story on the MINI. In the process of writing a couple more entries, one which will feature the Countryman picture.
