Finally got it: low-mileage 2005 with chrono pack
All right, finally chased down a low-mileage R53 in a fun color with the chrono pack!
It's a 2005 chili red with only 28k miles. Tartan red/black leather seats, Harman Kardon stereo, ipod adapter. Would have preferred no sunroof but I can live with it (ask me again come summer).
Body-color all round is boring - I need stripes! And I'll probably change out the mirror caps, which are a bit scuffed anyway.
So far it's certainly living up to my high fun-to-drive Miata standards!

Good looking MINI. The daughters 06 Cabrio has the CHrono package. Only downfall is the speedo is obstructed by the steering wheel around 70mph. Other than that, I wish our 07 MCS and the Clubman had the Chrono. Why MINI dropped it is beyond me!
