I had been looking for a while at Minis and finally pulled the trigger on an '08 MCS with 56k on the clock. Super clean with some JCW interior package items. Main thing was to get an S with Auto (so the wifey can drive). It had a couple issues so I wont be taking delivery until later this week :(

I also bleed green for another British vehicle... Land Rovers. I have '99 SD Disco that has been an off road project/toy for the past 10 or so years. Bought it bone stock and it looks like this now:

Yea, love those seats with the color combo of the vehicle. I'm in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mods will come slow. It took me about 5 years to get my Rover looking like above to where it was when I bought it...

Seeing that I do come from a different side of modifying a vehicle, I will have lots of questions and seems like this board is pretty easy going on the n00bs.

Got a call from dealer... Mini needed a new thermostat and they are replacing timing chain. Worn out at 56k. Really?
