My friend's Snap-On event is next Wednesday from 4pm-9pm. You all are welcome to come in El Monte.

I'm in Arcadia...approx. 20 mins away. My father lives in Pedro, so i'm consistently on the 605 to the 91.

We could actually get a Sonics meet going. There's one in Duarte that seems to be pretty centralized to everyone in Socal. Or at least to the ones that have been chiming in about getting meets together.

 

When i had a G35, there was a Sonic's meet at the Anaheim location. That went well since the parking lot was huge. I haven't been to the one in Duarte yet. How's the parking situation there?

We could also do an In-n-Out meet. Food is better

 

It's in the same shopping center as the Target off of Mountain ave. Parking shouldn't be an issue. It's at least worth a shot. I've done a couple of the lancer crew and they never have any issues.

 

I plan on being there til about 8:30-9ish.

You guys planning the meet the same day of the Snap-On event? Meet there then drive to the event or drive out there after the event?

 

That sounds like a good plan. I'm all for In-N-Out, the food is definitely better.

@ra2, will your friend be able to check out my destination type to see if the CEL can be turned off on Wednesday? I tried a local shop but they wanted $115 just to plug the autologic into my car!

 

LoL. That's nuts. Yeah, they can take a look at your code, no charge. Rene said he would so he'll honor his word.

I'll be there helping out the LTMW crew with the bbq they're throwing out there, so just stop on by. This is a Snap-On event hosted by JMS Racing and LTMW. So I have a feeling it'll be heavily muscle car, but I think it should be interesting.

 

Anyine interested in a photoshoot ? Let's set it up....

 

I'm interested. I've got a ton of camera crap that I rarely use. One of my friends and I were actually going to try to make a top gear-style video of my car.

But yeah, I'm so in for a photoshoot or video or whatever!

 

Cool... I'll create a new thread with the sign up sheet.... where is a good spot to shoot that can accomodate more cars ?

 

Unless something happens, I'm planning on swinging by LTMW on Wednesday after work. Probably won't make it there until after 6/7pm though and will only stay for a bit.
