Except today the passenger rolled down window and now it won't go up, I hear the motor when I press switch up and down but thats it. I would like to repair my own vehicle so with someones suggestion I can make it happen...

Hi and welcome. We love pics! The search function here on NAM is not the best. Try using Google and searching for your desired topic and include "North American Motoring" with your search words.

Believe it or not a sharp rap to the door panel has been known to cure your problem. Worth a shot since it is free and easy.

Check out this thread if banging on the door panel does not work.

Let us know how it turns out.

Its too late for that at the present moment I have removed door panel and what I see is this cable that goes around pulleys but for some reason it doesnt look right, the cable is not taut but actually very loose. Any ideas on what my next move is?

If you can, take some pictures and post them in this thread. Much easier to figure out the problem visually. I have not done this repair previously but I am sure others have and can most likely assist. Did you check out the link I sent? Any help there?
