My '12 Baker Street Edition Hardtop
My '12 Baker Street Edition Hardtop
A little background maybe...
Living in Charlotte, NC for the past couple years...Tallahassee, FL before then... This is my first Mini. I just plasti dipped the chrome front grills (upper and lower), headlight surrounds, taillight surrounds, cooper badge, and the chrome trip above the license plate...the flat black conversion is now complete. It looks great and I will get pics up in the not too distant future after another photoshoot. I love cars and that has been something that has fueled my fire since day one. My hobby has been automotive detailing for well over a decade now...quite passionate about that too!
I have had a few BMW's...both a '09 135i ///M Sport and a '06 Z4 3.0si roadster. I think my love for Mini's started back in 2003 when I used to always get smoked by them at autocrosses when I had my '03 VW GTI 1.8T.
Well...here it is...a lot of people said they haven't seen one yet.

Are there interior differences too? Cool car and I LOVE the name! Been a Holmes fan since forever, and often listen to the Audible books while working. Nice touch to have Black Jack valve covers. Very subtle.

yeah...I am getting more pics done today showing of the beautiful interior. it has special rooftop gray leather door and dash trim, dash surface in special diamond/cf looking trim, contrasting stitching, diamond pattern on seats, baker street door sills, the works!
I am a fan...and the valve stem covers just give it that extra little bit!
you're welcome...it is soooo worth the wait. you are going to LOVE it!
LOL that would have been the biggest epic fail ever!
As No.9 guessed, photoshoot was done prior to plasti dipping...
