"Those waiting for a 2013" Support Group
There's some evidence to suggest all Charleston and Brunswick deliveries are made by K-Line. I'd look at their schedule.
I have heard the same thing. When I ordered my 04, it came over on WW, but that was almost 10 years ago! It really sucks that Kline doesn't post their data. I have a feeling my car is just gonna manically show up one day!!
Not sure if anyone has seen what a car transport ship looks like....here is a link.

We could share the same birth date. My MA indicated my Clubbie "birth" occurred at 7:32am GMT on 4/25/13. That is when the VIN was assigned and was 'born'. Rather cool of my MA to share that info.
My MA called this morning to tell me my car has been shipped and it is possible I can pick up my car next week. In his system it has estimated arrival of Tamesis to the Port of Baltimore on the 18th. Unfortunately, if I cannot pick up the car by the 21st, I will have to wait until the 28th to get back in town. Regardless, I'm happy that I ordered at a time when you can receive a car from start to finish in 5 weeks. I will keep everyone posted.
MA just informed me that my new bundle of joy is sailing on the Chesapeake Highway that departed Southampton yesterday (also my daughter's birthday
) and should arrive in Brunswick around the 24th. It's getting closer now...can't wait.
How's everyone else doing?

I'm still waiting to hear from my MA, but I am hoping my car is on the Chesapeake Hwy. with you! When was your production finished? Mine was on the 3rd.

I checked the MINI Ower's Lounge this morning, and the status on my roadster was "awaiting transport". Funny, the ship sailed two days ago.
There's much room for improvement on MINI's site, not only with the updating of information but the site mechanics itself. I had so much trouble with the OL in the beginning, I was going to give up on it. I had to created two different user name/passwords that in the end, their site refused to recognize. I called and spoke to MINI, and they had no idea what the problem was. They suggested that I create a third user name/password, which I did. That worked and continues to do so. This seems like such an easy thing in this day and age of technology.

I couldn't agree with you more! They have actually gotten worse over the years. When I ordered my 04, the ol would show the individual status along the way like, in the body shop, in the paint shop...
I kinda figured almost 10 yrs later, they would have live feeds of our cars rolling down the line!

The reality of the OL isn't as good as its promise
While the TRACK YOUR MINI function at the Owner's Lounge would be fun to use and add a lot to the excitement of buying a MINI, it really just causes frustration for the experience. The only time it worked for me was in showing that the car was ON ORDER four days after the order was placed and that it was SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCTION six days later. Mini needs to update the software and get rid of the Flash functions; I'm shocked that I can't use the system on an iPhone or iPad.
Today, 12 days after MINI Customer Service says production was complete, the Owner's Lounge still says the car is SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCTION. Even worse that that, Customer Service just told me that it is not normal that they don't have any further updates on my car after 12 days and that it should at least be at the AWAITING TRANSPORT stage by now. So, I guess that MINI maybe needs to add a link for MISSING IN ACTION.
The good news is that we're still well within the original delivery estimate of 6-8 weeks, but things need to get moving to make that happen.

Things were definitely much better when I ordered my 06, then dropped off with the 09 and with the 13 I just didn't really bother with the owners lounge, I just called ASK-MINI until it was close to finished, then used WW's tracking to find out the ship and sailwx to track the ship itself.
I remember back in 05-06 MINI were actually testing a feature where you could watch your car being built live on webcam, it would track the car through the entire process and they allowed a few customers to test it. Obviously they decided it wasn't worth the effort to continue, which is a shame.

All of the mentioned possibilities for the MINI Owner's Lounge sound nice, but is just really fluff. I'm not sure that BMW/MINI needs to have a video feed watching the production of my vehicle. I would just appreciate the site as it is with accurate information. It's pretty sad when the customer is better informed that the company producing the product.
