Need some help.. Newbie

Hello.. I have a 2007 Red Mini R56. Manual Transmission , love it. I am trying to take the two white stripes or bonnet off the hood. I am having so much trouble, my nails hurt. I cannot use a heat gun or hairdryer because the converter 12V wont give enough power. I need another alternative without damaging the paint. I was under the sun around 4o'clock , so for now I'm waiting until tomorrow for the afternoon sunlight.. I will try finish off with the sun, or if someone can help me out, it would be great. Thanks.

You can't run an extension cord out to the MINI ? A hair dryer to heat up the adhesive would rrreally help. If you can do that.... get a corner up and then work the heat from the blowdrier back and forth along the underside of the stripe. Should save you a lot of time and frustration.

Option B - would be to find a local sign shop and offer them $20 to do it for you -- don't be afraid to haggle with them...

Good luck
