New Mini Owner! :)
Good evening!....I have been searching for a daily since I do not want to drive my current car everyday anymore...well I have always wanted a MINI and finally took one home today! I originally wanted a manual trans and my fiance was telling me she was willing to learn, but when she started seeing me shift she said..uh oh nvm...I ended up taking a 2012 Cooper S with auto trans(no paddle shift) and a little bit more options than what I wanted lol...the car is that ice blue color I think? It came with the pano roof...ipod/bluetooth connect..cold weather package and some folding mirrors...
I am very impressed with this car even with the auto trans...I just hope that I am not missing out on anything without the paddleshift...I am trying to not have the urge to modify it in anyway for now but I have already started to look up parts lol...I hope to learn from everyone in my new found community!..
Here is my current daily..soon to be weekend car...

Good deal. I love my auto but I do have the paddle shifters that are
pretty fun to mess with.
Look at suspension and brake upgrades if anything.
Ex - larger rear sway (adjustable), nm torque arm mount insert,
EBC brake pads and Zimmerman rotors (only when needed).

Thank you for the warm welcome!....I am looking at suspension upgrades....I want to modify it but still be driveable anywhere...i was thinking spriings just so im not tempted to be too low...also
Is there a big difference between the regular sport shift auto to the paddle shifters? I just dont want to feel like I am missing out on so much in terms of performance and response.

more so than the paddles. Paddles are handy in twisties, you can keep
both hands on the steering wheel. Just takes some getting used to
not clutching.
