Hello there. Just joined and I am one week into my 2012 JCW PW/CR. I love it, but am thinking about adding recaros and an akrapovic exhaust. Any thoughts?

 

Welcome to the MINIsanity. Post some pics. Both mods seem like a great start.

 

I just had the full Akrapovic Evo exhaust installed last week. Its very nicely made with great attention to detail. Its pretty quiet but has a low deep exhaust note.

I say leave the factory JCW exhaust on there... maybe get the Akrapovic DP to start.

You should lower it. Thats the first thing I would do. Visuals then performance.

All you need for power is DP, FMIC, tune and you will make the most power you can right there.
