Hi all

My name is Vinny and I am a Cadillac guy but my neighbor just bought a mini and he isn't on the internet and I am sure he is gonna be asking me questions since he knows I am a car guy.

Appreciate any help I can get when he ask questions. His car is a 2004 or 2005 I think. Haven't looked under the hood yet.

Welcome Vinny. Just a suggestion---Why don't you get your neighbor to join this forum and get his knowledge/answers first hand. I got a feeling he'll learn more about mini's here than getting them second hand as there's usually followup questions/discussions that accompany any learning experience. Additionally he'll learn just by surfing this forum and seeing issues/solutions that he might not have even thought of had he not visited.

My neighbor doesn't have a computer and if he did he wouldn't know how to turn it on lol. He just turned 50 and doesn't think the internet will catch on. Some people just don't have computer skills or wish to.

 

He might be right about the internet, I'm still withholding judgement!!

Vinny, I think you can relax, I don't imagine his questions will go beyond, "How do you start this car?"

 

Welcome. Show him the wealth of knowledge here and he might just be swayed into thinking the internet has something to offer. Geez -- 50? I'm older than that and have every tech device made. Now my mother is 90 and SHE doesn't have a computer.
