Finally bought an '04 Cooper S after searching since the end of May. Took the train, 3 1/2 hours, to a town called Kalmar on the east coast of Sweden. The owner met me at the station and I drove the car to his house and I knew this was the one. The Cooper has lots of options, panorama roof, PBC, anti spin, Harmon Kardon, Milltek stainless steel exhaust and cat, lowered 2 inches, leather seats etc. Paid for the car, loaded in the summer tyres. original airbox, new brake pads, extra floor mats and drove the car home.

What a fun car to drive, I'm really pleased with it. I've had the car 18 days now. Yesterday I topped up the oil. The car was serviced by BMW in March by the last owner and had an oil change. I understand that it's normal to have to top up the oil now and then. I also replaced a front position light bulb that had burnt out.
