My CM is at the VDC! My MA called me today and said he's expecting it to AZ in the next couple of days. It's been a long wait but now I'm really getting excited!

 

The Topeka is out of range again :-(

 

The Topeka will be arriving in Halifax tomorrow.

 

Though the Port Hueneme calendar has the Antares Leader coming in on the 10th, marine traffic.com has an ETA of 10/8.

 

The Topeka has left Halifax and on its way to NY/NJ. Just a few more days.

Antares Leader will arrive Port Hueneme a day earlier on 10/9, YAY!!! Passengers on board are 105 Rover, 2407 BMW *drum roll please* 205 Mini!!

 

I wonder who will get the last 2012. Are they still taking orders?

 

Where'd you get that info? MarineTraffic.com says the 9th but the official schedule (as of 9/26) says the 10th.

flyingping_sj, did you ask your MA about the Motortober/Not Normal Sales Event? Supposedly, if you register and attend, you might be able to get $750 manufacturer discount. If you got yours at Stevens Creek, their date is 10/13. Perfect timing for you. I got mine at EB, so I'd have to wait 2 weeks, which I'd do if they don't let anyone breath on my car or charge me for it being on their lot. My MA hasn't replied to my email yet.

I think I read it takes 24-48 hours at the VDC - but I'm with you as I was on the same boat!

Where are you taking delivery? I'm hoping to wait to qualify for the NOT SO NORMAL event. Esp since it's only 6 days away for me now. Hoping to take delivery on the 15th and collect $750. We'll see!

 

Yeah, I remember yours and mine being on the same boat.

I got the car from MINI of Monmouth and my MA told me the car would be at their lot by next week. It would be great if you could get that extra money, I hope you get it! Do all MINI dealerships do this "Motor-tober" event? I have to check this out.

Woo hoo!

 

Well the weather in the Atlantic has delayed the California Highway and to make everything even better my MA is on vacation till the 11th. The original date the ship was supposed to be in port was the 8th so now it is pushed a day. Any idea how long it takes to clear customs and depart from the VDC? I am hoping to take delivery on the 13th.

 

I finally get mine tomorrow!!!
