Right-on! As I mentioned, mine wad installed at the VDC as well as the spoiler. It would seem that their equipped to do that on a mass production level so to speak.
The only things that were done at the dealer were the Aero Kit and the Strut Tower Brace.
Take heart charliesheena, they may be telling the truth!

If they have it on hand you should still be ok for Wednesday.
It shouldn't take longer then that to install the new exhaust, intake and software.

So I called the automated ASK MINI on Friday and it said my car was in production with estimated completion August 3. I called this morning and now it is back to saying scheduled for production. What's with that? Has anyone else had this situation occur?

That is not an uncommon occurrence, call Monday and talk to someone there for updated information. It seems that going from ordered to being in production 3 days later, would be unusual although not impossible.

[quote=gerry2153;3560238]Little "Wicked" has arrived...

So went to pick her up on Thursday evening- they were putting her clear bra on ...
I also noticed that her wheels were silver rather than black - and easy swap from a silver one on the lot... lol

We spent most of Friday bonding

First up was painting her toes

Very sharp!!! congrats!

Those of you without plates drilled into the bumper....does your bumper have tiny dimples marking where the screws would go?

Anyone know the delay from the time a vehicle gets booked/loaded onto a ship and it shows up on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen tracking site? I think ours should have been on the MIGNON that left on 7/30, but I only see seven vehicles on it, none of them ours. From what I have found K-Line RoRo does not go to west coast - could be wrong but I have yet to find a schedule that shows that.
TIA

In my case, the ship had been underway for two days before the WW tracking site finally showed my vehicle as loaded.

Thanks, I'll try and control my Wife's impatience (OK mine to) at not knowing where her baby is.

I think the amount of information you can get from their tracking system really varies a lot depending on what ship you are booked on and how integrated it is with the system. The ship I was on never appeared in the WW schuedule, and even after they showed that Raph was on a ship, the voyage number and vessel name would still come up as invalid. But my VIN showed up on the Bill of Lading, so I trusted that the information was valid. And at some points in the process the information took a couple of days to be updated and at others it was done the same day.

What port are you supposed to be delivered to?

Calif. Car was complete on July 10, but the first ship headed to west coast was July 30 best I could tell.

I know the agony of waiting too. Be prepared for more not knowing where your baby is. we're 2 weeks ahead of you on the Tomar. Here's what I've experienced while tracking our ship. YMMV

A little past the Azores the ship goes out of range. after 8 days of wondering/worrying it showed up close Manzanillo Panama! It stayed in port for over a day while they resupply etc. Then I see it moving back out in the Carribean! Was it going back? taking the long route around South America?

the next morning it had come back and made its way through the Gatun Locks then it sat in the Lake for half a day. it looked like a bunch of Atlantic bound ships were coming through the Miraflores locks. finally the Pacific bound ships got their turn. It's still not a fast process but interesting to watch on the web cams.

Now the Tomar is out of range again, heading to Port Hueneme on 8/8. Hopefully the trip to our dealership won't take too long!

Okay I need some help. My car went from scheduled for production to in production then back to scheduled and now it is in production but it said estimated completion August 23rd? Why is it taking that long to produce? I thought it only took 8 to 10 days. I'm so confused. Anyone have some insight on this?

Nalublue,

The the Panama Canal is a wonderous thing. Wife and I went through it on an excursion from our Cruise about three years ago. It is one-way traffic in a lot of places - with the new canal opening in the next couple years it should make the trip through a little quicker. Still don't see her VIN on a WW ship yet. Maybe it will show in another day or so.
