So, as for Hawkling. It's been a few days now after I found out about Hawkling's injury and still nothing from Northwest Mini in Tacoma. No follow up, no we've checked and we haven't heard anything, Just complete silence. However,....... Nevermind.

I know it's no consolation but in a small way were in this with you.
The angst, anger, anxiety, disgust etc... you have got to be feeling is being shared by some of us here. We can't wait to hear that you and your wife took Hawkling out for his first flight.
We are certainly hoping this saga ends for you soon so that we can move on and talk about somebody else besides poor Hawkling.

While I propose we have a moment of silence for Hawkling, Purrl is quite the beauty and a lovely addition to your family. I am sure she will bring you many miles of motoring enjoyment.

(I do wonder if we will ever find out what really happen to poor lil' Hawkling...)

 

I wonder the same thing. I hope that one day they update me, letting me that Hawkling finally arrived. I do need to email them and let them know to F-off though so I'll do that tomorrow.

 

Congrats deejay!!! Purrl is very nice! Love the interior. I almost went with a Bayswater that another dealer had here before I ordered but it was missing a couple of things I really wanted. Looks like she's loaded. Glad you are finally on the road and putting this all in the rear view.

 

I'm so happy for everyone who received their babies… I hope to join you guys shortly. I'm patiently waiting for my MA to call to let me know my CMS is in… *sigh*

I would be posting in here more often, but I've picked up a bunch of freelance web work to try and make the $2,800 that I need. I guess I'll sleep when I'm dead.

My car is in Georgia now and should be less than a week until I am able to pick Deuce up! It's hard because I am so excited to finally get a MINI, but at the same time very anxious that I won't make enough money to actually purchase it. This is the 2nd time going through the ordering process and have been waiting since March, so I just want this over with!

 

In a few days, Hawkling will be all fixed up. My guess is he'll never make it to a dealer's lot as some buyer will spec out a car similar to him and a MA will offer him as an immediate delivery. He'll have a new home and a new name.

Welcome to the Clubman Owners Club! Impressive to find a dealer lot car with the Mini Connect / Navigation. I have yet to see one actually on a lot up here in the North East. (Once of the main reasons why I special ordered Pini).

Anyways, I'm super happy for you! I recommend Blizzak's in the winter, if you get snow, and the high performance tires in the summer. Screw the all-seasonals. =)

 

I have never seen a MINI with black stripes and mirror caps but white roof. Is that a Hampton thing, or was it a mistake? Or did you do that? It is definitely unique, and I like it.

 

Yeah, that's the trim line on the Hampton's. It's pretty cool!

I thought for sure you were going to wait for Hawkling, but I really understand. Purrl is beautiful! I love her seats - you have good taste (same as Winston's seats). So comfy Congratulations on finally putting an end to the drama and moving forward

 

Congrats (Pumpkinhead, it's a newbie to tease lol)... Are you waiting for a 2012 or 2013? I thought any orders after 7/1 were 2013's? Are you ready to become the next stalker of this thread?
