It's Here! It's Here! It's finally Here! I got the email this morning. It was so hard to keep my mind on work today. If the dealer finishes prepping and spiffing it up, I can take it home tomorrow. I have clear bra and tint scheduled for Wednesday. I am so excited.

Anyone ordered anything from http://houseofgrafx.com/shop/ ? The prices are not bad and they actually returned my email, the same day even, actually, within the same hour of me posting. So that gives me warm fuzzies inside and I'm thinking of ordering stripes from them. So far, the local vinyl shops have been expensive in comparison ($300 - $695). But they're much less if I already have the stripes.

Also, has anyone used http://www.gfchips.com/minicoopers.aspx before?

Interesting, this boat leaves Port Hueneme destined for Tacoma. Although that's closer to where I live, it'll take another 4 days to get to Tacoma so it'll be quicker to get off in CA and Ship by truck to Tacoma.

 

You caught a boat the same day you got to the port. Very good. It seemed like mine took forever to catch a ride (seven days).

 

deejay - how did you confirm Hawkling is on the boat? I've tried my VIN through WW and it's not coming up and the OL is down. I'd think that since they were both completed and transported on the same day that Raphael is on the boat as well...but I don't want to assume anything. It's too late to call my MA, but I'll try him in the morning and see if he knows.

 

The dates I have down are when I learned of the status.

Where are some places to get real/OEM Mini accessories for a good price? I think I want some rubber mats for the rear seats and boot.

 

HOPEFULLY.. She'll be ready to pick up by the end of the week. On Friday I'm driving up to San Jose to see some family, so it would be nice to get her by the end of the week. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to pick her up until the following Wednesday.

I just got some rubber mats, front, rear and boot at SewellParts.com. They give NAM members a little bit of a discount. But what is better is shipping cost was about $10 and I ordered last Friday night, my order shipped on Monday and was delivered on Tuesday.

 

That is great that you took the plunge and went for the JCW. I bet you are doing just fine with a manual.

 

Congrats Mcptpv155! I am a little jealous, I must wait until Monday after work.

I'm pretty sure my MINI is inside the dealership, we did a drive-by last night. There were about 9 in there, most with "sold" stickers on them but I couldn't get a good angle to see all of them. My MA isn't the best at call-backs, he said he was going to call me when it came in the drive-way; but I'm sure it is there.

I figure if I wasn't getting driving lights installed then it could be mine today...but the shop is closed on the weekends.

 

Well, that's disappointing for me...I think I may have missed the boat. It's gonna mean a lot of for me.

Rapha's VIN is booked on the Vega_Leader leaving Southampton on 6/10 and arriving at Port Hueneme on 7/3.

The vessel name and voyage number aren't showing yet on the WW site, but at least I know he's in the system!
