Hi,

New to NAM. I'm waiting on a 2012 MCCs CR/B ordered on 7/5, in production 7/13, build complete eta 7/21. Looks like we'll just miss the Topeka 7/20 dep from Southhampton. Hopefully we'll make the Don Juan on 8/5 and in to Port Hueneme on 8/25. Can't wait to motor!

 

Finally found someone who's also set for production week 29! Ordered my 2012 Mini Cooper S on 7/5 and it's estimated to be completed on 7/22. My dealer said the wait would be around 6-8 weeks since I live on the east coast.

 

Congrats on your new mini. Looks like you'll be on the road a couple of weeks before I will. I'm jealous.

 

WEEK 29. This is my fourth Mini but it's still fun to track it although not as obsessively.
Production started 7/11....released to carrier today waiting transport to the port. Looks like it'll leave on the ELEKTRA on 7/24 for a ten day trip arriving in NY on 8/3. I ordered another Laser Blue/White Cooper S.....should be motoring in it before Aug. 15. Cool.

 

Fourth Mini? Wow, that's impressive! On average, how long were your waits for the other three?

 

Don't remember 2nd & 3rd with certainty....I recall 7-8 weeks. The first one took six months from the day of deposit.....they were just putting the show room together and wait listing people. There wasn't even a floor model..... although I had seen one the year before at the BMW factory in Munich and went nuts over it. So essentially I ordered it in March '02 and it arrived in Sept....six months later. It was hard to be patient for that long since I wasn't already driving around in one.

 

I guess I am in the same production week as you too. My MCS completed production and is awating transport to the doc as of 7/21. Mine is destined for Baltimore. I am guessing that is a different ship. I am hoping to get on one of the two WW line ships for Balt. on 7/23. Tires crossed....

 

Congrats on the new mini. The askmini folks just said mine is at Southhampton. Looks like the next WW ship doesn't leave until 8/5 for the west coast. Oh well.

 

Congrats! You're lucky you didn't run into any production delays. ASK MINI told me that my estimated completion date turned from 7/22 to 8/9. Crazy! Hope you'll get yours as soon as possible!
