Hello! My name is Tim. This afternoon I traded in my Honda Element and brought home my new Countryman S All4. I'm already hooked! Went for a drive this afternoon just to drive. Never before have I done that in a car.

It's Royal Gray with black roof and chrome interior/exterior trim. Got it with a bunch of packages... cold weather, sport, convenience, premium, connected with nav, and lounge leather. Definitely the nicest and funnest car I've ever owned.

 

Congratulations!!! It looks beautiful!! Sounds like you didn't even have to wait a long time for it either (like most of us here)...that's a bonus!!

 

Welcome to the Mini family!! It is the funnest car you will ever own and you will find yourself taking more of these "drives" than you can imagine!! You will often be stopped by people who want to look at your car

First thing I need to do is find a rear mounted bicycle rack that works. Looks like MINI sells one that works. Better than getting an aftermarket hitch I think. I might ask about it at the dealer on Monday.

I lucked out and the dealer had one in stock with the features I wanted (really just manual transmission and nav). I really enjoy all the other options though.

 

I lucked out that our MA found one with the features we wanted, in one of my choice colors, sitting, completed and awaiting transport in Austria. My wait hasn't even been 3 weeks yet... and it's already 3 weeks too long!!
