Question from a newbie about windshield

Have had the car one week now. Purchased with small two stars in windshield. Dealer has agreed to replace the windshield as part of the deal. I am sure it won't be a true Mini windshield. Took it to a glass repair shop today, they filled the areas, although I can still see the stars (not in driver's view). So they won't crack any further. Given all of the hype about disturbing the rain sensor, heating element, A pillars, should I risk a replacement or be happy with the OEM with two plugged stars. I can't decide. Any feedback is appreciated. I am obsessed with this little Cooper S! I love it and want it to be well cared for as it was with it's original owner.

If your MINI Dealer is willing to replace the Windshield, just ask them whether or not it will be an OEM Windshield??!! Or if you are happy with the current "fix" then let things be. I've been watching a chip in Molly's Windshield too, every MINI seems to have rock chips in the Windsheld, some crack and some don't.

Thanks for the feedback. The dealer is not a Mini dealer and they will call in a company to replace the windshield. I am leaning on keeping it as is. I gues I can live with the stars, call it character. Again thanks for the response, much appreciated.
