What's up every one? I figured I'd begin my Mini adventure here. I just purchased a Cooper S (2002, R53) as my fun little daily driver/road trip car (My other car is a huge SUV). I got it for cheap as it has 100,000 miles, but I figured fixing/modding some stuff will be half the fun- First stop: Suspension... I wanted to say thanks in advance to any one who will help me along the way as I purchase parts, get them installed/try my hand at DIYs, and ask random questions about maintenance and other things I discover along the way. Before coming here I was all over vwvortex.com as a I was big VW/Audi guy (I still have a soft spot in my heart for them, of course) but now that I have my Mini I've fallen in love with it already and can't wait to get more involved in this culture!
