New member and new to mini
Hello my name is Scott.
I live in Michigan in the metro Detroit area.
On Monday I am buying a 2006 Mini GP.
It has 53,000 miles on it and is 100% stock.
I do not think I will be modifying the mini at all considering I will be building a evo over the next year. I'm sure I'll get the mod bug at some point.
I am heavily involved in the DSM,EVO,Subaru,Honda community.
On my day off (Wednesday) I will be doing a oil change, trans flush, replacing the belt tensioner, belt and will be adding a Detroit tuned tensioner saver.
Also anything else I can find that needs replacing will be replaced.
I will probably be on the forum alot reading and learning as much as possible about these cars.

Welcome to the big show!!! Starting off in the wonderful world of MINI in a GP is sure a big first step. Also, I've got a buddy in Albuquerque with a GP and I love it. He is known here on NAM as "CHILLS". Just watch, he's crazy!!!

So yesterday I picked up the car.
I put 240 miles on it just driving around
The car is flawless and drives amazingly smooth.
Tomorrow I will update with more pics and some parts I'm adding tomorrow

This car has been through a lot. It ended up being neglected and needing a ton of work.
I replaced tons of parts.
The car is finally fixed and everything the way i wanted it. It is currently up for sale now that i feel i have returned it to a proper GP.
Time for another toy/project. I just don't have space to keep the Gp any longer :[.
