She's here. Picked her up about three hours ago.

All pictures taken with my Sprint/Nextel Motorola I1 phone, which seems to have a vaguely brown hue. It's a gorgeous day today, and the Eclipse Gray Metallic is much less brown than these pictures reflect.

Congratulations on a cool looking MINI Mo'Phat from all the way over in San Mucous! I don't think that color change is due to the camera. My Dark Silver turns a deep metallic blue at low sun angles. While I've got your attention I'd like to invite you to join West Coast MINI. We have runs and other functions mostly in SD County at least once a month. I joined 2yrs ago and the fun has never stopped. Great bunch of folks who'll talk your ear off about MINIs, lol. We have a site on Yahoo Groups and FB. MINI ON!

Thanks a lot everybody. The best part about the color is that I kept it secret from my family. Not until I pulled into the driveway!

Their guesses were either Black, Silver, and British green...and the cool thing is that Eclipse Gray is a combination of all three. I love the color.

The wheels were a leap of faith, and I love them too.

 

Another great looking MINI, Mo'Phat! I also got mine today...and still loving it.

By the way, Thank you Dwight Walhood and nics.sd for the invitations. I've never been a car club guy. Let me warm up to the idea and see what happens. I plan to drive every road with a turn on it in the North County, so may as well do it with some friends.

LOL! I'd never been a car club guy either or even named a car before. Joined WCM purely by accident 2yrs ago and have been having a blast ever since. The member's backgrounds are as varied as you can get, but the MINI's make it almost an extended family focused on having FUN. If there's a problem, help comes in from all directions. Do join in on the fun, you won't regret it!
