I called my Motoring Associate at Mini of Mainline today, and left a message.... I am now officially "over- eager"!

 

I take it this info was from a real person... what does the automated ASK MINI system say? I'm still getting the" awaiting a shipping vessel" message I've been getting for 2 weeks. Wondering if talking to a human will get me any more info?? Poor Otis, I feel sorry for him sitting on the dock all this time. :(

 

Anyone from WEEK 14 already have their new MINI? And more.... anyone already have their Countryman? Just asking....

 

Not yet. 4/27 "Expected Delivery Date" from the Owner's Lounge. We'll see.

Mine is real close, hopefully on a truck to the dealership tomorrow. I also need it real soon since my commute just doubled and my truck's MPG is half the Mini's.

I just received an email from my MA, my car should be here on Thursday!!

 

Just realized my CM is on the Porgy, expected in NYC on May 5. It left port on the 21st frm Bremmerhaven, with several stops in between.

Anyone else have a "baby car" traveling home on the Porgy? Its docked in Southampton now.....

to Alrauer; what ship is your baby CM car on? It could be with mine on the Porgy?

 

I still am not positive which ship my (nameless- need to work on that) CM is on-- I believe its the Florida Highway, which is due into Brunswick on May 4. But I'm only assuming that because my VIN is not found on the WW site, and the date for the departure of the FH is close to the date that the ASK MINI chick told me my car was "on a ship". My MA has yet to respond to my inquiry of shipping details.
Wish I was on the Porgy- some tracking info would be delightful.

 

I do I just tracked the progress on the ship tracking site. It hasn't gotten very far yet. Looks like it left at 8:30 last night. And the wait continues.

 

Hey!, You must live in my area. I test drove a MINI at Mini of Mainline. I ended up ordering mine through Otto's in West Chester because the salesman at Mini of Mainline would never return my calls or follow up on anything.
Have you checked out the local MINI club, "PhillyMINI"? It looks like they're really active...lots of rallies and other events.

 

Thanks for snapping those pics ! I was away from my computer when she finally made it to the Miraflores locks. Can't believe she was sitting by the Gatun locks for 12 hours!

 

Yeah, we live about 60 miles north of Philly, and I may look into that club. We have always had really good service from Mainline. Thanks for the club information.
