Week 14 2011 Support Group
So the automated status will tell me more than "currently in production" and scheduled for completion 4/6?
I'm wondering the same thing... or do I have to get this info from ASK-MINI?
The automated status can tell you more but it may take several days to update. My MINIs status is still on "in the body shop" but its possible it has already gone through the paint shop and is awaiting final assembly.
West coasters: the Madame Butterfly is en route to Bremerhaven: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...mmsi=563892000
Next stop after that is Southampton
.
Still don't know if my MINI will be on that ship

I thought that Oxford worked weekends, but maybe not. According to ASK MINI, Molly2 has been "in the paint shop" since April 1; that's a long time painting (small brushes
). In any case, they tell me she's in "assembly" now. Maybe we can catch a ride on the Otello
. She just headed out from Bremerhaven tonight. If not, maybe the Taiko....

Well, according to my "research," my port of entry will be Baltimore. The next three Walenius-Wilhelmsen boats headed for Baltimore from Southampton are the Otello on April 7, the Taiko on April 10, and the Independence II on April 17. I don't think the Aida is headed for Baltimore on this voyage. Of course, I don't really know if Molly2 is even ready for a sea voyage
What really left me agape was looking at the satellite view of Port Bremerhaven. Yesterday there were five of these huge ro-ro ships in the harbor
At the outer limit of possibility, this could mean over 30,000 vehicles waiting to be loaded. Crazy.
And the "parking lots" at Bremerhaven are amazing: multi-story garages likely filled with cars to be delivered, plus ground-level parking that goes on and on. Granted, the satellite view did not show yesterday's conditions, but I say again: crazy

Nice! Mine just move to "in the paint shop". Still estimating being completed April 6.
by the end of this adventure...hahaha.

And I figured if I started putting less of them it would look like I was getting bored.
