Cool! The automated status just went to "in production" for my MINI as well. Estimated completion date is April 6. 6 days before the Madame Butterfly departs .
That's good. Mine hasn't made it on the ship yet. I should call my MA to inquire about it.
Side note, I found a 2010 Clubman S in the same color that I want. The price is pretty low now due to the fact that the person can't sell it. The price difference after tax between the used and the new one is 14% right now. I'm debating which one I should go with. The used one has a TON more options on the car as well. *sigh* The car has 12500 miles on it. It used to be owned by a dealership and I guess they used it as a loaner or something. I'm confused now: New or Used.

The 2011 S has the Valvetronic system instead of the previous (2007-2010) timing chain setup, which some owners (me included) had trouble with. I'd go for the 2011.

Oh, I didn't know that! I did read on this forum that many people had the timing chain issue. Well, I hope the Valvetronic system is more stable. I'll do a little research.
Thanks for the information. I tell you, the people on this forum is so helpful!

Another difference is the new engine gets about 4 more hp and slightly higher gas mileage.
What determines week n or week 14. Is it when production starts? or when the car rolls off the assembly line. My MINI began the approx. 7 / 8 day process on March 23. Estimated completion is April 1. I am not sure if this is week 12, 13, or 14?
Yipppeee! ASK-MINI now says my CM (I need to name my car, btw) is now "In Production, with a completion date of April 8"!!
Congrats..the wait seems to last forever. I remember when I got my estimated completion date, I was happy too. Then the waiting period came....it drove me craaazzzyyy.....

What's your spec?
No kidding. My CMS is still on the 150 status. April 6 seems like a long way away.
EDIT: Opps, just noticed your signature. Looks like you will have your MINI before the end of April .
