That's good. Mine hasn't made it on the ship yet. I should call my MA to inquire about it.Originally Posted by eno

Side note, I found a 2010 Clubman S in the same color that I want. The price is pretty low now due to the fact that the person can't sell it. The price difference after tax between the used and the new one is 14% right now. I'm debating which one I should go with. The used one has a TON more options on the car as well. *sigh* The car has 12500 miles on it. It used to be owned by a dealership and I guess they used it as a loaner or something. I'm confused now: New or Used.

The 2011 S has the Valvetronic system instead of the previous (2007-2010) timing chain setup, which some owners (me included) had trouble with. I'd go for the 2011. Originally Posted by darthhen

Oh, I didn't know that! I did read on this forum that many people had the timing chain issue. Well, I hope the Valvetronic system is more stable. I'll do a little research. Originally Posted by oldsbear

Another difference is the new engine gets about 4 more hp and slightly higher gas mileage.Originally Posted by darthhen

What determines week n or week 14. Is it when production starts? or when the car rolls off the assembly line. My MINI began the approx. 7 / 8 day process on March 23. Estimated completion is April 1. I am not sure if this is week 12, 13, or 14?

Ordered 3/22.
OL says "Scheduled For Production" as of this morning.
ASK-MINI says 4/6
Sold my current car yesterday (sold way faster than I was expecting). Yeah...I'm ready.

No kidding. My CMS is still on the 150 status. April 6 seems like a long way away.Originally Posted by darthhen

I'm a little paranoid right now.
My MINI is in production, according to ASK-MINI, but when I review the order detail in the owner's lounge the entire convenience package is missing.
I'm hoping it's included in the whole "MINI Connected with Navigation" piece, since that's offered as a package.
My dealer assures me it's there.

Mine is missing the convenience package on the OL as well. A printout from the dealership shows the package is there.Originally Posted by chrisfowler99

It looks like MINI extended their March promotions to MINIs delivered by May 2.
Too bad I won't see mine until May 12 at the earliest.

Yeah...almost makes we wish I'd ordered the whole premium package instead of leaving out the sunroof. Might have been able to save money in the end.Originally Posted by eno

Oh, well...
And the odds of getting it before May 2nd are really slim anyway.
