I'm Brandon from South-East Massachusetts.
I drive a 2004 Mini Cooper S in Chilli Red with Drag Extreme Alloys 17" Wheels & Low-Profile Pirelli tires to go with 'em.
According to the abbreviation cheat sheet you guys have here, it's a 2004 R53, CR, with ASC+T. No modifications yet, only the wheels and tires.
I ran into this website while trying to search for some help with my Mini. First the shifter would get stuck on really cold mornings, and thanks to you guys I found out it's just a little moisture in the cables. I also was worrying about the run-flat tire light on the dash; I didn't know what the light meant until I came here. I don't have run-flats, and the light comes on every so often so it doesn't matter and I figured it was just a hiccup, as it has only happened since I added some air to the tires the other day and it only happens when the wheels slip but only sometimes.
I'm glad to be part of the forum and if anyone has any suggestions for me I'm open to them! Happy Driving to Everyone. -Brandon

Hello. Just joined this site as I do not own a mini but am seriously considering it! I have seen a nice used "S" which is very tempting. Can anyone provide bewares/info/do's etc regarding owning a mini for the first time?
