Hello from the Gulf Coast!
Hi!
We're picking up our first ever Mini in a couple of days - 2011 MCC in PS (did I do that right?) I'll post pictures when we have our new baby.
We've driven all kinds of cars over the years - Toyotas, VWs, Ford, Volvo...I've been secretly crushing on the Mini for a few years and I'm SO excited!
This looks like a great group and I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

Hi Bruce - we split our time between Bama and Nola. We didn't order it - started out as a casual test drive, which quickly turned into true love. The first car I drove was a sparkling silver clubbie, which was great but I wasn't crazy about the color. I wanted either a bright silver or a racing green, and spent a bunch of time designing my dream model on the website. We went back this weekend just to "look" (hah!) and ended up making a deal on the showroom display clubman, which is pure silver and has EVERYTHING I wanted. What is your clubbie like? Are you waiting on delivery?

I am glad you did not have to go through the ordering nightmare. I ordered on 1st of Nov and the car is built but I think just sitting in Southhampton. This has to be the longest wait I have undertaken. I am about ready to drive 500 mile to get a Mini that fit my requirements. Anyway congrats and let the personalization begin.
