Both Clubmans and JCWs are not produced as much as the Cooper Hatchback model. JCWs normally take longer in general.

So my build week went to week 48 (First week in Dec), since MINI will want to get as many sold cars in before end of the year. My MA had to find a model for me, as he did not have any Convertible S models for production this year. Another dealer helped out. Yet my Owner's Lounge still has the wrong specs.
Thanks for sharing the info… Looks like I have plenty of time to sit back and plan my first road trip

Online builder for the countryman goes online on monday, the 15th of Nov. Therefore I assume, the other models will get the MINI Connect options on the builder too. This might be helpful to those that are getting hit with the $250 charge for the armrest. As you should be able to build your MINI with the armrest at NC.

Here's what a bulletin from MINI said dated 10-28-10. "Due to some product rule changes, the option code for connected is now 6FP." and "Pricing rule. MINI connected requires the armrest, which is $250 extra. This also affects MINI Connected with Navigation. So note that on the pricing sheet the armrest will have teh $250 charge shown next to it."

I interpret that to mean that yes, I have to pay $250 for the armrest.

I place an order for ClubmanS on Nov 1st. I was given a production number and told " week 44". My Mini is still in order statis as of 13 Nov and was told factory behind schedule. I hope to be "week 46". I would take those build dates as optimistic. I have been checking O.L. 3-4 times a day. Waiting with no progress is the hardest part.
Is there a week 51 or 52?

And the armrest is both required and $250 extra, at least for the MCS.

I was just playing with the configurator for the Clubman S. When I go to select the Nav option, it tell me to remove the Convenience Package. There is no alternate Convenience Package that I can select that goes with the Nav. option.

The configurator has issues. One other thing, it list Eclipse Gray as a free color for the Clubman S

Under info for that package, its explains that a 750 dollar version is available with MINI Connected and to see your dealer for details. Its called Convenience Package II. Includes all except the bluetooth, IPod adapter. As MINI Connected includes Comfort Bluetooth.

So I need to sign off on my order today and now I am confused. I was going to pass on the Blutooth as the phone in my 2010 sucked. Theya re saying they moved the phome mic to a better spot-No one could hear me and the car is now had 30% reduction in interior sound noise. It needed it.
I see where some have ordered blutooth and Mini Connect. Blutooth vrs blutooth comfort- whats the diff? Reg-Blutooth give you a place to plug an
MP3. With Comfort you can run it wireless off your Smartphone? I have a new Droid X will this work with the system? Help,LOL.

I placed my order on Friday Oct 19th. I also had to pay $250 for the armrest but I don't mind.

AFAIK the droid won't interface with the Connected system YET. Not sure on the blue tooth. I would assume you'd still get normal function out of the blue tooth but who knows.

$250 for the Arm Rest also. Got production number only so far. I think with connect it is wired to charge a Smartphone-Iphone only so far.

Mine finished production the middle of last week. Waiting for it to show up (hopefully) on the search results from W&W.

My Mini w/Connected + Nav arrived at the dealer on Monday. I am out of town, so I can't pick it up until Friday. The only picture I have is one my dealer was kind enough to take to tide me over for a few days.

Actual pictures of Connected to come
