Just bought my first Mini!

Just like the title says. I purchased my first Mini. Its a MCS 06 Dark silver with only 30,000 miles on it. I got a pretty good deal from a private party.

But I must say, it is by far the most fun I've had driving a car in a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. I've owned an '02 Eclipse GSX, '05 M3, and an '06 IS 350 and IMO the MCS is the funnest to drive. I've never looked forward to driving a car, as a I do with my MCS.

This car is addicting. There are so many options with it to buy I don't even know where to start . Ok well I do know the first things I'm going to buy for it is a CAI and a 15% Pulley. Not sure from what company, maybe alta maybe WMW maybe M7. I'm still deciding though.

For all those MCS owners, GOOD JOB! By far the best car I've owned.

If you think its fun now wait until you put a CAI and 15% pulley. Keeps getting better!

Grats, and welcome to the world of R53s! I bought my '06 on the 25th of last month, and just turned 30k on the clock too, but mine's BRG. Kindred spirits perhaps? Maybe they were next to each other on the line at Oxford.

Have a blast; those of us that own R53s have truly great cars

Welcome and congrats on your puchase ! A really good year too

Take you time with each mod. Some bang for the buck mods are better off to do before others. So it pays in the end to do your research here before spending your hard earned cashola.

Good luck!

Congrats on the new Mini, I just also bought my first Mini last Thursday. It's an '06, Dark Blue, with only 33,450 Miles on it when I drove it off the dealership lot. Also LOVING it!

Thanks for all of the replies! Yes this is by far the coolest and most fun car I've ever had. Those who don't own a Mini or have been in or driven one have no idea.

All of my friends laughed when I bought the MCS. I asked them, "Have you ever been in a Mini? Have you ever driven a Mini?" I handed them the key, they took it for a spin and when they came back all they could say was sorry for making fun.

Congrats on your new Mini! Do you have names for your Mini's? I'm sure their is a posting to that somewhere on the forum.
