I just bought a Mini Cooper great handling an joy to drive. How in the hell do you learn to use the stereo, wipers? everything is counterintuitive>>>>>HELP!!

Welcome to the forum, read your manual or if you don't have one find a MINI driver and ask for his help.

 

Not counterintuitive, just different! And just practice, practice, practice! I still haven't mastered everything like when I press the phone button it dials the last number I called, why can't it just show me the menu?

 

If you press the phone button in and hold for a tick the menu will appear, while a quick press is redial. I had the same issue.

 

Ohhhh that's how it works!?! I must have missed that little trick in the owners manuals, thanks for the informaton.

 

Well, i wasnt careful when i pulled my new mini into the single car garage, and with great aplomb ripped off the right hand mirror, and i need to mention that was the DAY i took possession of it. It is currently in the Crevier Show undergoing surgery.

 

I would appreciate any performance upgrades you would suggest..

 

You will get used to it after a while... now go and enjoy your cooper :D
