wanted to introduce my r53 to the forum :)

here is my 2003 MCS (i dont give names to any cars i own, so its just 'that black mini over there' i guess haha)

But, here are mods done to it:
Hsport lowering Springs
Dinan strut brace
Megan Adjustable lower control arms
Aero Grilles
VIS CF hoodscoop
15% Alta Pulley & colder plugs
Alta v2 Intake
Detroit Tuned Bypass Valve
Alta Sportone Stealth Exhaust
O.Z. Superturismo GTs wrapped in Yokohama tires
painted black calipers
TSW Engine Damper
oil catchcan
b&m short shifter/tiburon boot/weighted ****
r53 badge
yellow fogs and turnsignals
tinted windows and windshield
removed useless rear wiper
and i made my own towhook plate holder (after 32 front plate tickets i said enough is enough, thanks IL)
rear seat delete as well, but i stored that away for now

im actually thinking about painting the calipers red to tie in with the red lettering on the wheels, and possibly red mirror caps, whats everyone opinion on that?

but here are some pics to not keep this all talk, and please excuse the quality of pics, camera that im used to broke so had to borrow a family members one to take these, and lets say it took a 'few minutes' to get them to look somewhat presentable, plus it was a sunny day.

oh and it did go trough the whole black everything out stage too hahaha, but its kinda getting old and played out

Red calipers would certainly look the part, but not sure about the mirrors. I'd leave them. Love the rims. Is it legal to have a tinted windshield in IL?

yeah it is definitely illegal hahaha.
they finally allowed us to tint the front windows too, but only lightly, so hopefully they dont look at tinted cars anymore so much.
but its black to the point where i actually the other day pulled up to a cop and flicked him off hahaha, and i got a parking ticket couse the traffic cop didnt see it trough the windshield on the dash hahaha (but surprisingly enough you can see fine trough them from the inside)

I'm just wondering, did you make your mirrors black or your roof white?

mirrors were white, roof, ugly slites in white, and white stripes all up on the hood....all had to go.
roof was checkered too btw.

I purchased this actual car a number of years ago. I'll post some pictures of it in the future, but this has been well taken care of since I got it. Never seen a winter and this still looks and runs like a champ.
