Mostly a Lurker, but "Hi" to all.

Hello to everyone out there.

I joined about 2 months ago, but have just been absorbing everyone's input into so many, many Mini topics. I am interested in Minis both personally and professionally.

I hope to buy my first Mini in the next year. Everything I've read indicated that I will have nothing but fun with it! My current SUV just turned 10, so I'm also surious about the Mini-SUV that I've heard rumors about.

I can tell you all that I am jealous every time I see a Mini drive by... or in a parking lot, or in my neighbor's driveway, or passing a showroom. The list goes on. It's just a matter of time till I get one of my own!

Professionally, I'm involved with a company which has recently introduced a new badge holder system for front grills. It will mount to nearly any vehicle, but Minis are one of it's first big focuses.

Anyways, I'm enjoying being here. Everybody keep up the great content!

Cheers,

George

Even though you've been here for a bit, here's an official welcome to the NAMily. Hopefully you find and get your first MINI sooner rather than later.

It's just a matter of time, the seed has been planted, and no matter how hard you try to ignore it, you will end up owning a MINI. It happened to me, it will happen to you, as it has already happened to all the others here . Good luck.

We traded a 1999 SUV with 161K miles for our Mini. (Kept the other SUV, though).

I will never regret the decision of buying this Mini. I am in love with it!

GO FOR IT! MOTOR ON!

Spending $$$ on my 2009 MC :-)

Okay...I ordered a few things today...just a FEW, nothing mechanical or electronic. Cosmetic.

I'm stoked!

Can't figure out how to post images. So...

**Chrome Valve Caps
**Viper Stripe Kit (Someone ELSE) will install (not me or hubby!) -SUGGESTIONS FOR SAN ANTONIO??
**Stone Chip Guards (a must for a trip to Durango, CO)
**Wheel Cleaning Kit (what the heck)
**Glove Box organizer (I really wanted this!)

Saw the new MINI Countryman mini SUV yesterday at a preview showing, think it makes a lot of sense for the 4 WD folks, don't see much off road potential (too low) but good beach runner, seats 4 in comfort, probably will be awesome in the snow.
