Was Lurker, Now Poster

Hi all,

I've been a member of Sunshine MINIs down in FL since I purchased my 2009 BRG JCW last April. I've been around the forums gathering info and reading topics. I finally thought it would be better if I just went ahead and registered and actively got into the conversation.

Anyhow, I guess the post that made me do it was the SeaFoam post. I have about 14K on my car and just did a first treatment and now I seem to have gained a little pep back in the car.

Hopefully I'll learn some more cool stuff as I get deeper into the boards.

Just from my looks at the car when washing and changing oil I have to say that the IC on the JCW is very small. It seems like changing out the piping and doing a swap on the IC is going to be high on my first real performance mods on the car. I also need to figure out issues with fit on my grill and if I went to the JCW aero kit.

Good to see you're here!

Awesome! Nice to hear from you and thanks for the welcome! You should stop by some of the Sunshine MINIs events. The Gainesville/Ocala guys do stuff once a month. Mostly it's riding out to a restaurant, but it can be fun none-the-less.

I might have to make that cruise night. I'd like to get a chance and see your Challenger. My dad and I have been restoring a '67 Barracuda over the years.

Glad to see you've decided to post! Do you have pics of your MINI?

There's some great people in the SSM group.
