Hi I just got my Midnight Black Cooper Clubman a little less than a month ago and have put a little over 500 miles on it. I traded in an '06 BMW 325i for it. It has the premium, cold and convenience packages, silver bonnet stripes, center armrest, and rear spoiler, along with the six speed manual and black leatherette. I must say I love my MINI!

So far I am averaging 30.9 mpg, which is about 10 better than I was getting with the BMW. With the Clubdoor it is actually easier to get my 2 year old in and out of the backseat (and he loves that he gets his own cupholder )! Even though the Mini doesn't have the power or the sport package my BMW had, I find it just as fun to drive. And there is no way it couldn't be better in the snow!

The only "mods" I have done is put a GB decal on the back. Can't do much more as it is a leased vehicle...although I would like to put a grille badge holder on as well. I bought an OEM one from minimania that supposedly fit R55 Clubmans, but the bolts were not nearly long enough. :(

I'm looking forward to learning how to take care of my Mini and becoming part of this awesome community. -Jeff

I just picked up my Midnight Black Clubman S last week and I love it too!

Come on over to the Detailing101 forum for tips on maintaining it. Although I told the dealer not to wash or detail it, the paint still came with holograms and swirls in the paint presumably from the VDC. I worked them out and waxed it with Prima products to bring out the metallic flakes! Also got out all visible Cosmoline that was oozing from the crevices.
