My Mini Problem
My Mini Problem
I can't believe I am just getting to this here, I have been molesting the pages of M|U & NAM for too long. I have been a MINI fan since I had my 3 series. They kept giving me a Cooper S as my loaner and I kept bringing my car back to be serviced so I could drive it again so I figured it was time to own one.
I lived in California for the last decade working in design and brand development for fashion brands. I went on to invented a stroller that converts into a tricycle with the guy behind the Airborne Mini project, also a well known car designer and my long time friend, Joe Iacono. First chance I could, I went off to find the newest R53 I could find in Montreal, where I now reside.
Winter is a disaster, so on and off go the parts with the seasons. I am not sure how you all do it with coil overs but is like navigating through a war zone. Here is my ride, I hope you all like it, although I do and that's really all I care about. So did the guy that just keyed my door...so, when I find you you m&#$ker...I'm hooking you on to my diffuser and dragging you around town.
Lets see what I've done;
custom badges all around
stubby antenna
smoked lights
tinted windows
body painted aero grill and R50 scuttles
painted aero grill [in the trunk]
JCW carbon mirrors
JCW carbon scoop
carbon rear diffuser
carbon cowl scoops
17" Tenzo Type-M
alta stealth exhaust
voltage intake
voltage fog light mask
m7 strut bar
ngk Iridium plugs and wires
Hartge shift **** and E-brake
Cockpit Specialties Blue Gauges
oem chip guards
...some other junk, more always coming and there with dreams of horsepower and carbon fiber. This MINI addiction is a serious problem but if rehabbing means driving something else, I'll keep throwing money at it. Slotted rotors, tires...maybe a job, ya that too...
