new owner with a question

Hi, can anyone tell me about the transmission in my car? I bought a 2005 s convertible and I keep finding differing Info about the Transmission. Does anyone know if it is the new Aisin 6 speed auto or the CVT? Thanks for any help.

It's an S, so it has the Aisin. The CVTs are in the Coopers only from 2002-2006.

That answers one of the questions I've had about my '06 MCS SB/S with #1, #2, #3, #4 and HK. I've only had it for about three weeks and have been readling the horror stories about CVT.
