New to the site
Hi all! New to the list, but not new to Mini necessarily. My wife had a 2003 Cooper before we met, so naturally it became our weekend warrior once we were together.
Unfortunately, the 2003 had a lot of issues (well documented around these forums - this site has been a great resource). Things like the suspension, radiator fan, power steering, and the latest issue: The passenger door lock. For a while it just wouldn't unlock with the key fob or switch, but then it wouldn't open at all (from inside or out).
Ended up trading it in last week for a 2010 Cooper S. It's a blast! What a huge difference from the humble 2003 Cooper. Dark Silver, white top, white bonnet stripes.
Anyway, just want to say 'hi'. I'm sure I'll be around posting and reading as I discover more about the brand new Mini.
