Bimjo SR14 West ends @ I-5, but SR 14 East of Washougal is the Not-Straight Section you may want to check out. It is a 2 lane road, Trucks use it, so it tends to get backed up at some points. I don't know if I'd recommend trying it a night for the 1st time, but you are right it is a very nice 'twisty-turvy' road!!
That's pretty much how I remembered it, but it's been 5 years since I was down that far west. Klickitat canyon from Lyle along the river is a nice drive to. Very scenic. Might have to take a drive this weekend.
